The family dog Charly has been used as a school dog as part of small group support for the past two years with lots of success. Around 100 children are taught every week. Already, after such a short period of time, Charly has been accessed by closed off or traumatised children and even those who are mute. The atmosphere in the classroom is calm and relaxed when she is there. Charly is from Spain, she is 2 years old and a Podenco mix. Beside the goal of school support, the project has another task: Enabling children proper, loving and peaceful access to animals.

DOKAS supports Charly and the project, providing our dog treats free of charge.
